Freelance SEO Consultant Liverpool

Want more sales or clients from your website?

I Make It Easy For People To Find Your Business On Google

I’ve been honing my craft in the SEO industry since 2012 and have worked with a wide range of clients including multi-million-pound companies and QUANGOs, but as someone based in Liverpool, there is little I love more than helping to grow a Liverpool-based business with SEO.

How Dan’s SEO Consulting Works

First, we’ll get on a call (if you’re based in Liverpool we can meet face to face if you prefer) and discuss what you’re hoping to achieve with SEO and which keywords you are keen to target.

I’ll then run an SEO video audit of your site, this draws on my experience to quickly highlight the key deficiencies holding your site back.

Once your SEO audit is complete, I’ll come up with a strategy that will improve your website and put you on track to achieve your goals.

Improve Your Liverpool Business’ Rankings

63% of all shopping journeys start online so it’s vital that your business can be found on Google.

An effective SEO strategy has the potential to transform any business by massively increasing the number of sales.

So if you’re looking to put your Liverpool business directly in front of potential clients when they’re looking for you then get in touch to discuss taking your business to the next level.

SEO Work Examples

Some of my recommended strategies may include things such as:

  • Internal linking
  • Competitor research
  • Content improvements
  • Technical audits & improvements
  • Keyword research
  • New content creation
  • Conversion rate and user experience optimisation
  • Google business profile optimisation
  • Link acquisition

Every site is different so I don’t offer set SEO packages, instead I put together a bespoke strategy for your site.

A good SEO Consultant will do more that just ‘SEO jobs’ such as running audits, building links, on-page tweaks and doing a bit of keyword research.

While a good SEO Consultant will do tasks like that a good SEO consultant should be able to clearly explain what they think is holding your site back and put together and implement a clear and effective strategy to achieve organic traffic growth.

Some good questions to ask an SEO consultant to work out whether they are the real deal include:

  • What websites have you ranked before?
  • What keyword are you most proud of ranking top for?
  • Can you guarantee a number one ranking? If they answer yes to this it’s a red flag that they will say anything to get the sale, no one can guarantee this.
  • What’s the first thing you’ll do if we hire you?
  • What services do you offer?

The best place to look for someone who can do SEO is the top of Google so start your enquiries there.

When speaking to potential Consultants ask specific questions (such as those listed above) and make sure you get clear and specific answers back, if they haven’t got any case studies they’re willing to share then avoid them like the plague!

The number one thing you should expect from any SEO Consultant is results. If you don’t get them you’re wasting your money.

That said results take time so you should expect your SEO Consultant to be doing high ROI tasks focused on the key pages that you want to rank, this could include things like researching and building out related content, adding internal links, reviewing competitors, acquiring relevant external links, recommending usability improvements on your site and more.

Over 90% online sales start with a search engine, so if you’re at the top of Google when a search for your service/product is made then your business will do well.

An SEO Consultant with proven results should be able to increase relevant traffic to your site. If they can do this then your investment in SEO will eventually pay for itself many times over.

So yes, a good SEO consultant is more than worth it.

To hire an SEO consultant follow these steps:

  1. Contact the consultant and ask for a website review.
  2. Have a call with the consultant to go over precisely what you need and what they can offer.
  3. Agree on keywords to target.
  4. Work out the potential ROI of ranking for those keywords (use our SEO ROI calculator for help with this).
  5. Agree on a monthly fee and sign up.

SEO takes time and consistency to work.

If you want quick results you will be disappointed.

Typically SEO will take at least 6 months until you begin to see signs of growth.

However every site is different, how long it will take to see results depends on many factors including:

  • The amount of competition in your industry.
  • Your budget.
  • How well established your site already is.
  • If any technical issues are holding it back.

Why Choose An Independent SEO Consultant Instead Of An SEO Agency?

Budget Friendly

I’m not paying for an office (I’m based at home), I’m not paying staff salaries (I use freelancers when I need them), this means I’m cheaper than an agency and your budget will go further with me.

Limited Client Numbers

I take on a limited number of clients and only work with clients that will be a good fit for me. This means I am able to focus on providing a top quality service for the clients I do take on.

One Point Of Contact

Instead of dealing with an account manager you speak directly with the person responsible for planning and executing your SEO strategy (me).
